A THIEF who stole from several shops around Gosport has been given a community order.
Luke Blythe, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing four packs of pork chops, two pork joints and a steak worth £50 from the Co-op in Tukes Avenue, Bridgemary, Gosport, on November 12.
The 23-year-old also pleaded guilty to stealing meat worth £17.94 from the Co-op in Wych Lane, Gosport, the following day.
Blythe admitted taking meat worth £21 from the same Co-op on October 29, and £15 of goods from Southern Co-operative in Rowner Road, Gosport, on November 24.
Fareham Magistrates' Court also heard how he pleaded guilty to stealing goods worth £12.50 from the Co-op in Rowner Road on November 14.
And he took meat of an unknown value from the Rowner Road Co-op on December 12, November 11 and 28.
Blythe was ordered to undergo treatment for his drug addiction for a year when he appeared before Fareham magistrates.
