Employee subdues 25-year-old suspect who tried to take $180 in meat from a Lewes grocery story A 25-year-old Millsboro man was charged with robbery Thursday after allegedly loading $180 worth of meat into a shopping cart and trying to leave the Super Fresh grocery store in Lewes without paying for it, police said.
Kevin C. Waryasz struggled with a 44-year-old employee who tried to stop him from leaving the store at 18758 Coastal Highway, Delaware State Police said.
The incident took place around 5 p.m.
The store employee subdued Waryasz until police arrived.
